The KAC Cross-Country Classic is one of the largest Cross-Country ski races in NSW. Started in 1972 by enthusiastic KAC Members wanting to encourage greater participation in Cross-Country skiing, the race has been held every year (except 2020) since and is a noted event on the Australian skiing calendar. The race is the highlight of Cross-Country Race Week, which starts with the Boonoona Open the previous Sunday and finishes with the Snowy Classic the following weekend. The race atmosphere is electric, so if you're yet to experience it we recommend giving it a go!
