The 2025 KAC School Holiday Ballot
Change of Date - Please read carefully
Ballot Background:
- The 2025 School Holiday Ballot application will be available here online from Monday 7th October 2024.
- The Ballot will close at Midnight on Thursday 5th December 2024.
- Results of the Ballot will start to be advised within 10 working days (19/12/24) of the Ballot draw.
- A 50% non-refundable deposit will be required to confirm a successful booking. Please ensure your credit card details are correct so that the office can process your deposit and therefore confirm you Ballot result. No result/outcome is confirmed until the deposit is successfully processed. Your card will NOT be charged until the office has communicated with you as to the result of your Ballot.
- Once again, the Ballot is coming out much earlier than previous years. This is to assist parents finding alternative accommodation should they not receive the particular week/s they request, desire or require. This is particularly the case for those competing in Inter-Schools. For your Ballot to be valid, all those on the Ballot, including the Member parent and Junior Member/s, must be financial. This means your 2025 Annual Subscription must also be paid. As occurs every year, Annual Subscriptions are sent on 1st December (a Sunday this year). This gives everyone four days to pay the appropriate Annual Subscriptions prior to the Ballot closing. If you do not receive your Annual Subscriptions by the morning of Monday 2nd December, firstly please check your Junk/Spam folder. If it/they are not there, please then contact the office and we will either process payment right then on the phone or resend it to you - whichever you prefer.
- Before undertaking the School Holiday Ballot, please read the full School Holiday Ballot Terms and Conditions here.
- Do not contact the office and ask for specific rooms. Individual requests cannot be met in this regard.
- Be prepared to share a room with your children/others in your group booking. Spare beds in rooms cannot be left unoccupied and usually children and parents must/will share the same room. The Club provides "lodge" accommodation, not hotel accommodation, and all bookings are allocated to maximise beds to as many Ballot recipients as possible.
- If the Member parent filling out the Ballot is also attending, please make sure you include yourself as attending in Question 5. Often a parent can't attend due to work commitments and if you don't include yourself you will not be included in the booking.
- There is no hurry to complete your Ballot. Your date of completion of your Ballot plays no part whatsoever in the final outcome. All entries are placed into a computer driven "randomiser" upon closing of the Ballot. The Club exercises no control or influence over the outcome.
- Each Junior Member receives one entry into the Ballot. Do not enter Non-Member Juniors. There is another space on the form for non-Members in your immediate family. Children currently on the member waitlist are NOT eligible to enter the Ballot.
- If you have multiple Junior Member children you only fill out one Ballot, placing each of their names on the Ballot. Please use the full name of everyone included on your Ballot, not just Christian names. Surnames are sometimes different.
