All 2025 KAC School Holiday Ballot applications (for June/July 2025 Ballot) must be submitted online only. No paper forms will be accepted. Only a KAC Member can submit an entry form (no Non-Members), and it is on behalf of your Junior Member child. Please note - your child must be a current financial Junior Member of KAC. Further, being on the Junior Member Waitlist does NOT count. The Ballot closes at midnight Thursday 5th December 2024. For families with multiple Junior Members, only one entry form is required, even if you have more than one Junior Member children. For full terms and conditions click here.
Please note Ballot entries cannot be amended once sent, so please ensure all answers on the form are correct before submitting. Further, please ensure you mark the lodge/s and week/s of your preference correctly. There have been instances where the incorrect lodge and/or week have been marked of, the applicant has been successful, and not realised until very close to the school holidays themselves that they are not going to the lodge or week they had intended to put down. By that stage it is generally too late for the office to fix the inadvertant error made by the applicant.
All bookings for all members and their guests is for a minimum seven (7) night stay only. Check-in is on the Saturday after 2:00pm and check-out is no later than 9:00am of the following Saturday morning. You may not check in early as the lodges need to be thoroughly cleaned after all previous guests depart. Please arrange your arrival time accordingly.
In order to speed up the process of confirming Ballot bookings, all Ballot entries must include valid credit card details (excluding the CCV). Deposits for successful bookings will be debited directly from this credit card upon confirmation of the allocation. Failure of the credit card transaction to obtain the deposit may result in the cancellation of the offer.
The Ballot allows for up to three preferences as to Lodge and Week. The Board requests that, if you do provide multiple preferences in the Ballot (which is highly recommended), that you only advise a preference if you actually intend to travel that week and to that location. Many Ballot entries over the years that have provided a third preference end up booking and holding beds and then cancel before the deposit is taken. There is an enormous amount of administrative work putting the Ballot results together, and unnecessary cancellations create further work and delays in getting the results out. Further, should you only provide one preference, the chances of you obtaining that one preference is smaller than obtaining a week of your choice if you provide three preferences.
The Ballot Weeks commence as follows:
Week 1 Saturday 28th June 2025 NSW Private School Holidays
Week 2 Saturday 5th July 2025 NSW State School Holidays
Week 3 Saturday 12th July 2025 NSW State School Holidays
